It's pretty cool, especially as it shows the flexibility of SQLAlchemy in this case used as a middleware. You can download the script here. I recently had the problem that my VLC Media Player took about a minute to start. First I didn't know what caused the problem until I remembered that I imported my Music Library into VLC, so it always scanned the whole Library to import the meta data. To disable the Media Library do as [...] I recently do a lot of mathematical computation, using MATLAB, unfortunately MATLAB is not open-source and fairly expensive to buy. There is a open-source reimplementation of the MATLAB language called GNU Octave. But I never really liked it, mostly because of the missing visualization features compared to MATLAB. So I started to look for [...] This is the first official release of the Bazaar ProENGINEER Helpers. It's a simple command line version with no direct integration into Pro/E. If there is somebody interested or even needs this library I will find some time to finish it, [...] After the last OpenExpo in Winterthur, Switzerland I decided to take a deeper look at FreeBSD. What impressed me most was the jail mecanism that makes it very easy to setup isolated environments on a single machine. I currently mostly use Linux (Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS) on my servers, but I always thought FreeBSD [...] Unfortunately I still was not able to get dfu-util working properly under Mac OS X. But at least I can work around the problem. Here a small resume of the workaround: Boot the Openmoko into U-Boot (AUX+POWER) Plug in the Openmoko via USB Execute the dfu-util command you want. To flash the rootfs execute: [...] I'm currently working on a cleaner API for ucplib. I got some pretty good ideas and started merging my work with another library which is doing basically the same.
